As Senior NHS Consultant at the University Hospitals of Leicester I have more than 30 years experience of NHS practise. I currently practise privately at my personal Chambers, the Leicester Nuffield Hospital and the Leicester Spire Hospital. I currently serve on the Medical Advisory Committee at the Leicester Nuffield Hospital and am a founding Director of The London Road Clinic. I have extensive experience in preparing reports for both claimants and defendants in Civil and Criminal Courts and have acted in various Tribunal cases. My current ratio is 70% claimants, 25% defendants and 5% joint instruction. I have assisted not only in the Courts of England and Wales but also the jurisdiction of the Scottish and Northern Ireland Courts. My experience extends to the Courts of the Republic of Ireland and I have also provided testimony in cases in mainland Europe and Asia. My experience covers occupational injury, personal injury and medical negligence. Screening reports can be provided as well as reports on Causation and Liability, Condition and Prognosis.

Clients are examined at my private chambers at The London Road Clinic in central Leicester which has its own private car park and is within 300 metres of the well-connected central rail station. My chambers are equipped with advanced balance, audiology, endoscopy and smell testing facilities. Domiciliary visits are available on a case by case basis.

Reports are customarily provided within 4 weeks of instruction, receipt of all records and examination where requested. Urgent reports within a shorter time frame can be accommodated on a case by case basis. Desktop reporting is also provided on request.

Fees will be charged on a time-costed basis at my current hourly rate plus VAT. Please see Terms of Engagement 5(b) and Court Attendance Terms for further details. Specific investigations required in individual cases are invoiced separately and quotes are available from the Practice office upon request.
